Announcement about CCD Classes

As we all struggle with the restrictions put on us during this time due to the Coronavirus, we too must realize that we can use it as an exercise to practice our faith and enjoy as best we can our family life within our own households.

There will be no CCD classes this week and probably for the near future. I will do my best in keeping everyone up to date, but please do not hesitate to go to the St. Francis de Sales web-site for more information.

Confirmation Candidates please try and practice all that we have learned thus far putting into practice how we should live our Catholic faith with love and devotion to Jesus and to love everyone as we love ourselves.

Families please take this time to pray with your family asking our Lord to get us all through this crisis, healthy and as quickly as possible. Pull out all the stops, asking the Blessed Mother Mary, St. Joseph and all the Saints to intercede for us and this will make our prayers multiply as they are put before our God.

Remember, our God is an awesome God and he reigns in Heaven and on Earth and he is there for all of us.

Lastly, since we cannot physically attend Mass, you can however take part in the Mass in your home as our Archdiocese will be streaming the Mass from the Basilica on Sundays. You can also catch the Mass on EWTN if you have Optimum (Ch. 67). Though we cannot receive Jesus in the way of the Eucharist we can offer the Mass as a Spiritual Communion for us all.

I will pray for all of you, please pray for me.

God Bless You All!

Religious Education Program

Every child should have the opportunity to attend religious education classes. The Newark Archdiocese requires all children from ages 6 to 14 to be enrolled in a religious education program unless they attend a Catholic school. We welcome the opportunity to teach them! Please make sure that your child or children are registered for CCD.

CCD Registration Process

If you are new to our parish or if you neglected to register your child and would like to enroll someone now in our CCD program, please call the CCD Office at 973-779-3949 to arrange to pick up a registration form. We’ll leave an envelope in the rectory foyer for you. Fill out the form (front and back), and then call for an appointment with Mrs. Santlofer.

During that appointment, we will discuss with you the instructions and requirements for our program. Paperwork will only be processed after parents meet with Mrs. Santlofer. All registrations must be returned with check, cash, or money order.

If you have any questions or concerns, call 973-779-3949. Please speak SLOWLY and CLEARLY in English and leave a phone number we can reach you at. Every effort will be made to return your call within 24-48 hours. Thank you and God bless!

Confirmation 2019

Most Rev. John W. Flesey STD DD, Regional Bishop of Bergen County came to give the Sacrament of Confirmation to our Candidates on Friday May 10, 2019.

We had a wonderful time in our Annual Advent Wreath Breakfast. It is a time that as  a family we start living the wonderful expectation of the Savior.

It gives a chance to all our children to spend time with their family in a faith based environment. May God bless us all!
